Brain Injury Support Services

In addition to Case Management services, we also offer the following programs:

Peer Support

This program offers an opportunity for persons with acquired brain injury to connect with a trained Peer Supporter during regular drop-in times.

Peer Supporters are themselves experienced persons with brain injury who have participated in our peer support training program.

Brain Injury Support Group

This group offers an opportunity to meet with other people with acquired brain injury to support each other, share information and common experiences, and know that you’re not alone.

Leisure Group

This group is designed to create leisure opportunities for individuals following an acquired brain injury. Activities include various crafts and outings.

Computer Program

This program offers an opportunity to work on a 1-to-1 basis with a facilitator to learn how to use the computer for a wide variety of activities, such as word processing, typing tutorials, surfing the internet, and playing some games.

Participation is by regularly scheduled appointment. The schedule is reviewed and updated fairly often, so please call the Society to leave your name on the waiting list.
